Just like our good buddy Art, Chef James Waters was once again in the limelight repping Diner Deluxe & schmoozing for the cameras on Global TV Calgary’s Morning Show, earlier today. Those who tuned in were treated to some advance footage of The Food Networks new series “You Gotta Eat Here!” currently filming in and around Calgary.

James was demonstrating how to flip an omelette without dropping it on the floor. He did it perfectly. Great success.

Another Roast Night, another sell out.
Tonight’s feature of AAA Alberta Prime Rib, Mashed Fingerling Potatoes, Roast Cauliflower & Seasonal Veg with Demi Glaze & Buttered Leeks was nothing short of outstanding.

True story.

The holidays are fast approaching & our Forno Roast Fridays are wildly successful. On Dec. 23 we will be hosting a Holiday Feast consisting of Roast Turducken stuffed Black Truffles & served with all the trimmings. So delicious that Charles Dickens would be jealous! Wine features & desserts.

We are going to be featured on a new program for the Food Network titled “You Gotta Eat Here!”. Diner Deluxe is so happy to be among the other great spots in Calgary that will be getting some great exposure when they come to film in a couple of weeks.

It will be business as usual for the most part December 6 & 7, with hopefully minimal disruption. On Wednesday the 7th we will be taking reservations for those friends and regulars that wish to be a part of the filming process and have their own 15 minutes of fame.
